For more than 25 years in the biopharmaceutical industry, I have helped implement LIMS/ELN systems in quality control laboratories. My dedication to this field has been driven by my passion for technology and programming, always striving to overcome the common challenges my clients face.

However, one of the biggest obstacles I observe with most LIMS systems on the market is the need for programming and configuration to digitalize the workflows required by the laboratory.
This reliance on programming in most LIMS negatively impacts its implementation, especially in highly regulated environments like the pharmaceutical or food industries.

The most frustrating part is that after investing time, money, and effort into the LIMS implementation, it still fails to digitalize all workflows. Instead of simplifying and modernizing operations, the laboratory finds itself trapped in a hybrid limbo between digital processes and workflows that still rely on paper.

Driven by the desire to help my clients overcome these challenges, I set out to find a solution that didn’t require programming from the client, met all laboratory requirements, and was easy and quick to implement. Despite exploring the market, I couldn’t find a LIMS that met these needs.

It was then that I realized I could combine my passion for technology, programming, and my experience to develop a solution that would help my clients overcome these challenges and meet the requirements I had set for myself.

Thus, Ez-LIMS was born, a software designed to digitalize all laboratory workflows without the need for programming or configuration, and fully aligned with the rigorous quality standards within QC laboratories.
